A flagship pilothouse designed for year‑round boating — engineered for confident all‑weather performance and everyday comfort.
The Yamarin Aura Cabin is a modern take on what “all‑season” should actually mean: not just the ability to endure rougher conditions, but the ability to stay comfortable, functional, and easy to operate across climates and boating cultures.
Our scope covered naval architecture and detailed design/engineering, delivered in close co‑creation with Yamarin’s in‑house design team. The collaboration was essential because this project sits at the intersection of three hard requirements: a premium flagship user experience, true all‑weather capability, and a production package that stays rational for serial manufacturing.
From a hull perspective, the Aura Cabin was developed around all‑weather performance — the kind that supports confident passage when the water turns choppy, and predictable handling when the boat is loaded for commuting, day boating, or overnighting. The overall concept pairs that hull intent with a pilothouse solution that’s genuinely usable in mixed conditions: enclosed when you need protection, but visually open and socially connected when the day is calm.
Key design cues support that “protected but not closed‑in” feel: large doors and a highly transparent pilothouse that maintains visibility and easy movement onboard. The helm environment is built around an integrated digital experience, consolidating navigation, boat data, and onboard systems into a clean interface that supports safe decision‑making in changing weather.
The Aura Cabin is not trying to be a niche specialist. It’s designed to be a dependable flagship across latitudes — Nordic commuting one week, Mediterranean day boating the next — without asking the owner to compromise on comfort or confidence.
