A compact, long‑range explorer designed for open water and real weather—with clean, contemporary lines.
The Coastal Explorer is built to go out when the conditions aren’t polite. It takes the robustness and logic of a workboat and packages it into a private-owner platform that’s practical, fast, and confident in all seasons.
We brought our experience from commercial and harsh-condition craft into the project from day one. The goal was clear: create an all‑weather vessel for an owner with a serious appetite for travel and adventure—without turning the boat into a floating toolbox.
From first concept through to final construction drawings, the work was done in close collaboration with the owner. VR walkthroughs and full-scale mock‑ups helped validate the layout early, so we could fine-tune ergonomics, storage, and day-to-day usability before locking in the engineering detail.
Design priorities:
All‑weather capability: a strong hull and a platform that stays composed when the sea state builds.
Long‑range practicality: extensive storage for equipment, provisions, and the realities of being away from the dock.
Control and maneuverability: predictable handling underway and confidence during close‑quarters operations.
Clean, uncluttered design: restrained, eye‑pleasing lines—a clear contrast to the visual “noise” common in many explorer-style boats.
A good example is the diving/utility deck: it’s designed as a working zone, with space for everything from scuba tanks to marker buoys, and a layout that supports safe, easy boarding and water access.
Large windows and open sightlines keep the interior connected to the surroundings—because an explorer should feel close to nature, not sealed away from it.
